EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF AFRICAN YOUTH, A PRIORITY FOR AFRICA DEVELOPMENT
The best project... To reach a harmonious development, a security for a sustanaible development, « Education and Training must be a priority. In fact, how to explain the extreme poverty of African people while Africa has many resources? » It is simply because all leaders graduated from Universities and High Schools very often lack wisdom, despite their good will and aptitudes to lead and build an emerging Africa. Therefore those ones influence negatively. That's why we think that a leader necessarily needs « Wisdom » to meet his objectives for the happiness of everybody.
This assertion is well-justified by the American University professor Robert Sternberg, specialist of Intelligence, and we quote: " I consider that one of the main missions of University is to train our future leaders. But what is a good leader? He must be intelligent, and especially has the three forms of intelligence : Creativity in order to find ideas, Analytical intelligence in order to get sure that those ideas are good, Pratical intelligence in order to make them accepted and applied. But history, ancient and contemporary, provides us with many examples of intelligent leaders who led their countries to catatrophes - because according my theory, they lacked an important factor: wisdom. Therefore I identified the five important breaches to wisdom from the bad leaders : unrealistic optimism, selfishness, the belief to know all, all power feeling, the feeling of invulnerability and the feeling of invincibility. Shortly, I am planning to give a teaching about wisdom, by relying on scientific research in this field - and evaluate the contribution of this new teaching during a first cycle in Tufts. " (Human Sciences, Fébruary 2007).
So we agree with this thought from this distinguished American University Professor Robert Sternberg, specialist of intelligence, who from now on is our guide; Because it is through wisdom that any durable action can be built. This NGO JAD aims at being a durable project for the happiness of all generation. So it will be led by leaders who know how to balance wisdom, unity, solidarity and excellence at the service of development. In sum, the best project to get cordial values for an emerging Africa remains « Education and Training ». It is for this mission that the Commission « Education and Training » of the NGO JAD will devote actively.
